The telecommunications sector was among the first sectors to develop, change and modernize in transition countries. The purpose of this seminar is to bring the reader closer to the situation of the telecommunications market in our country and the causes of the problem, in order to more easily understand the competition, the structure and the conditions prevailing on it. We always aspire to a market of perfect competition, however it does not exist, so it is initially necessary to delimit other market structures to see the differences and similarities, the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. The individual power of PSUs in a product market is less if there are more of them. Furthermore, the greater the number of buyers, the less their individual power in determining the conditions under which the exchange takes place. 2.2 Market structures Depending on the number of sellers and the number of buyers, we distinguish between: • perfect or perfect market structure and • imperfect or imperfect... .. middle of paper ......therefore more accessible to a broader class of citizens The market of telecommunications services is an important segment of the development of each country in the telecommunications market in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as highlighted in this document, liberalization is largely implemented, but further regulatory actions are needed by part of the competent authorities to achieve the objective state of a competitive market on the model of the developed countries of the European Union. Indeed, despite the growing number of operators and service providers, there are still operators with significant market power that hold a dominant position on the telecommunications market in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A greater and more favorable availability of telecommunications services translates into greater availability of information for all citizens, with repercussions on education6. Literature1.
