Stress is a state of mental or emotional tension or tension resulting from adverse or very challenging circumstances. Every human being goes through stress. No matter how much you try to escape, it's always there. It doesn't matter how old you are or how young you are. A baby gets stressed when he has to change his diaper or learn to crawl. Teens have school, clubs, five-page research papers, and a chance to figure out life there. As for adults, they have children, jobs and daily expenses. Everyone experiences stress, there are silent stresses and some that make you physically ill. There are so many different things that cause stress. There are a few obviously main ones that happen to people more often. They are grouped into two different groups such as personal problems and social and work issues. As for personal problems, people might have their health stressing someone out, which is not good because stress makes illness worse. People may also be dealing with relationship problems, major life changes, family stress, or conflicts with their beliefs and values. Now, on the other side, people might have social and work problems. They might have things like surroundings, social situations, unemployment, jobs. (Stress Management: Causes of Stress, p.1) Many other stressful things are put on people, but these are just some of the main things that can stress all people. For some people, stress is much more than simply feeling overwhelmed. Stress can also contribute to hypertension, obesity and high cholesterol. (Kathrine Warren par. 4) Stress is most of the time not just a feeling. Some people experience headaches, stomach pain, nosebleeds, tighter muscles, and fatigue. (Ron breazeale, par.9) Everyone goes through stress in their life. It doesn't matter if you are a child, a teenager or an adult. Everyone gets stressed, sometimes even over very small things. Along with stress comes health problems. Such as heart disease, asthma, obesity, diabetes, headaches, depression and anxiety, stomach problems, Alzheimer's disease, accelerated aging, premature death. Along with these problems you can do things to cure them and help them. How to sleep more, plan your day, look at your life in a positive outlook and get support. However, a little stress is always a good thing, because it pushes you and helps you thrive and stay focused. Sometimes it is taken to the extreme, as in the top ten cities. Just remember to sit down, take a deep breath and focus!
