Khaled Hosseini is known for the most heartbreaking stories, such as The Kite Runner and A Thousand Shining Suns. Hosseini's novels are projected across all eras, making his works extremely popular, not only across the nation, but also in seventy countries. As a result, Hosseini immediately turned into an international bestseller. Khaled Hosseini's successful novels are mainly based on observations made during his childhood in Kabul, where he uses relationships not only between a parent and a child, but also heartfelt relationships regarding marriages and siblings. He clearly describes his work as a kind of fairy tale turned on its head. You have a very painful breakup at the beginning and then this tearful reconciliation at the end, except the revelations and reconciliations you're given aren't what you expect. That's what life really is like (Hosseini, The Guardian). Hosseini's words exactly describe his first two novels, The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns. In Hosseini's The Kite Runner, the protagonist suffers from a lot of guilt after betraying his half-brother as a child until he finally chooses to reconcile as a middle-aged man. In A Thousand Splendid Suns, the protagonist's father betrays his little daughter but then returns to her asking for forgiveness. Hosseini's topics discussed in his novels provide him with the opportunity to reach many, giving him the ability to affect readers emotionally, his main strength in writing. Further examining Khaled's life as a writer and doctor, many similarities were found between his life experiences and his novels, while his years as a doctor taught him to become a devout...... middle of paper.. ....Much of Khaled's experience was incorporated into his first novel to share his perspective on Afghanistan and the hardships that an Afghan family like his had to endure.
