This is the least sanctioned crime committed by minors worldwide. A delinquent is a minor person who commits criminal acts; these crimes are most often based on their behavior. Their behaviors are mostly characterized by carelessness, unnecessary rudeness and wild nature. Criminals are in every state of the world. Juvenile delinquency has been attributed to lack of parental control, poverty and especially video games. Violent video game play has been linked to aggression and this in turn contributes to the violent nature of young people. Juvenile delinquency has become a serious worldwide phenomenon in recent years. Criminal activities attributed to this are on the rise. Based on research conducted, data from a sample of institutionalized juvenile delinquents, behavioral and attitudinal measures related to video game play. Violent video games are associated with ant sociality, and these effects resist strong influences from multiple correlates of juvenile delinquency. In recent years, the number of violent video games has increased, consequently this has been a major concern of teachers, parents and other authorities. Violent video games are believed to be the contributing factor to cases of youth violence. These games have been blamed for school shootings, youth crimes, and sexist violence. Lionel Tate, a 12-year-old boy at the time of his actions, is a good case study to examine.
