"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain." This is my favorite quote ever. It's my motivation when the skies around me get cloudy. It's the fuel that fuels my ever-growing hunger to dance. Living by this motto will help me achieve my goal of becoming not only a professional dancer, but also an inspiration to others. My strong extracurricular background provides a solid foundation, which serves as a great stepping stone as I get ever closer to making my dream a reality. I have been dancing since the age of four. I began my intense training with Tanju and Patricia Tuzer, Debra Bale and Linda Brown at the Tuzer Ballet. I developed as a dancer, attending an intensive performance in each show each summer, progressing from intermediate to apprentice, to junior company, and finally to senior company. The dance school has become my second home. I have taken classes in ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, tap, jazz, lyrical jazz, theater movement, hip-hop, zumba and African ballet, pointe, contemporary and lyrical jazz are my favourites.
