Belief and faith are essential parts of man's life. They provide guidance to man and help him make correct decisions in life. Russell defined human nature to a large extent correctly in his philosophical quotes. In fact, man is a credulous animal. If they were not gullible beings, there would be no religions and cultures. Man needs something to believe in, so as not to get lost. Man is a creature born to explore. They have many questions that they want answers to. They then explore the world around them to get answers to questions such as; How was the world created? What is the purpose of their life? What will happen after their death?. Even the child, after a few years after birth, begins to ask a multitude of questions about his surroundings. Parents may get tired of answering these questions, but the child never gets tired of asking questions until he is satisfied. When men cannot find exact answers to their questions, they search for ideas or theories, or create them so that they can form beliefs that can solve the puzzles in their minds. Although many among men think that human beings adopt solidly based beliefs just to satisfy themselves, yet such a thought is not true because it is human nature to satisfy one's curiosities as soon as possible, and so beliefs are formed no matter how much be true or strong, to answer their questions. Man uses the support of weak beliefs to impose a practice that has no explanation of why it should be practiced, to manipulate the minds of his fellow men with inadequate reasoning or to justify... middle of paper... any person even those who suffer some type of injury adopt these beliefs. It is human nature to create an idea, a false belief, in the absence of an adequate reason with which to justify one's inability or fear. The life of every human being is full of beliefs. Man uses weak beliefs, when he doesn't have strong ones, to satisfy himself in different ways. They may practice acts that they think will be beneficial to their society, they may kill another man who they see as a threat to their faith to gain reward, or they may justify their weaknesses and inabilities using those beliefs. If man only believed in beliefs based on strong foundations, the world we see today would not have been possible. It is human nature to believe in some idea that is not profound and is easier to understand. That's why it's easier to start believing in beliefs such as
