The History of Art Deco Art Deco as an artistic movement has had a lot of influence in the history of art and has been under the influence of past artistic movements and different cultures, current lifestyles and the life-changing societies of the First and Second World Wars. In design Art Deco was charming and in style it was luxurious. The main influences were high-level French artistic styles and craftsmanship, different cultures and avant-garde art. It was not only an ordinary style reflecting adventure, entertainment and leisure, but a taste highly appreciated by all classes of people with different minds after World War II. He passed down his traditional and modern design concepts and visual styles to younger generations and at the same time his styles have influenced many designers today (Hillier & Escritt, 2004). The characteristics of Art Deco are not easily defined because the term Art Deco describes many styles ranging from ancient arts and French decorative arts to modern arts. It can be described as the body of artifacts that includes works inspired by past cultures and avant-garde arts but not copied from high-style traditions and history. This began with the first appearance of Art Deco at the Paris World's Fair in 1925 and greatly influenced and inspired Art Deco (Arwas, et al., 1996). This term Art Deco comes from the French word "Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes" Origin of Art Deco Paris is the homeland of the cultures of the Western world and many famous designers and artists even after the end of the Second World War also tried in the United States of America To take control and leadership of vital artistic areas, France was still determined to maintain past arts records and leadership. ......middle of paper......joyful for today's society.
