Digital customer engagement is the process of businesses using social media to interact with customers online. Interest in customer engagement is increasing and parallels the continued evolution of the Internet and the emergence of new digital technologies and tools that have been dubbed web 2.0, especially social media and social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, blogs, wikis , Twitter, Youtube and MySpace. Social media of interactive nature with its ability to establish conversations between companies and individuals in customer and seller communities and to engage customers in generating satisfaction and creating value have energized professionals with its potential to better serve customers and meet their needs (Sashi, 2012 ). Customers interact with e-commerce and m-commerce applications with the use of the Internet which can be accessed via desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones and PDAs. In general, e-commerce is defined as a monetary transaction conducted using the Internet and a desktop or laptop computer, while M-commerce can be defined as a transaction that occurs through wireless Internet-enabled technology (via laptop, mobile phones, personal digital devices). assistants (PDA) and which allows the freedom of movement of the end user (Wei and Ozok, 2005). The structure and layout could also be improved and more specific information used to make this task more attractive and engaging. Using pictures instead of words might also save words that will be used in my next assignment. It is difficult to know if this literature review meets its expectations because the information obtained from journal articles and websites is not really straightforward, so a more intense search was needed to find the right information by typing the right keywords on journal sites and websites. It took me about two weeks to complete this review because I found the right information needed. These errors will be corrected in the next assignment by starting a month in advance and discussing more with my teacher to get better ideas and understanding.
