Organizational management refers to the management of people to achieve the company's goals and objectives by using available resources efficiently and effectively. Fundamentally, management includes planning, organizing, leading and controlling.Figure 1 - Four functions of management Planning to generate action plans in the future. Organization of workers with optimal utilization of available resources to successfully execute the planned plans. Control and monitor the work performed by workers and guide workers in a situational environment. Finally, motivate workers to contribute their best efforts to the organization. The basic functions of management must be fulfilled successfully to achieve the organization's objectives. The management is required to come up with a specific system to manage the workers, allowing them to use their maximum potential to perform the task and motivate them. Various approaches to managing people involve scientific management that breaks each task into smaller, simpler components such as specialized jobs assigned to the individual worker. Workers are trained to perform the task in the most efficient manner. Processing external activities for workers, an administrative approach that focuses on the principles for coordinating the internal activities of an organization. Satisfactory results can be achieved by using proper business forecasting and management. Working outside and inside the organization, the necessary hierarchical levels, rules and regulations must be in place to maintain efficiency and effectiveness. Along with bureaucratic management, it divides the organization into hierarchies, establishing strong lines of authority and control so that management has full control and maximizes people's efficiency. Managing middle of paper activities complies with expected objectives and goals. Basically, there are various control methods that management would use, such as bureaucratic control which focuses on regulations, rules and systems to meet the organization's expectations, clan control which depends on beliefs and culture to guide employees to achieve the organization's objectives and market control which is based on the market situation for specific goods and servicesIn conclusion, management must be flexible since it manages human beings whose behaviors are always unpredictable because they vary individually based on socioeconomic status, needs and perceptions. Management deals with complex problems that may need to be addressed, although many principles have been derived from experiments, observations, and investigations. The invention and improvement of theories in any discipline is a continuous process.
