Asian culture can be represented as the Chinese culture which has dominated the main Asian continent since the primitive society; it is one of the four ancient civilizations (along with Babylon, India and Egypt), according to the Chinese scholar Liang Qichao (1900). “It boasts a vast geographic expanse, 3,600 years of written history, as well as a rich and deep culture.” (China in focus, 2014). On the other hand, Western culture derives from ancient Greece. There are many contributions of Western culture, such as the Scientific Revolution, the Enlightenment, the American Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, and modern civilization. Although these two cultures are different, they still have a certain connection and affection between each other. First, Europe's inventions united Chinese inventions. For example, according to Chinese history, the four great inventions of ancient China changed the world, one of them is gunpowder which was introduced into Western society, so the West uses this technique to create weapons. Secondly, Chinese food influences Western food. For example, pasta has become synonymous with Italian cuisine; unfortunately the pasta is not originally from Italy, it comes from Chinese noodles (JULIA, no). Thus, two different cultures can be combined and produce a new one
