Topic > The Holocaust: One of the Darkest Periods in Human History

The Holocaust is one of the darkest periods in human history. Mass exterminations, torture and mistreatment. The Holocaust is undoubtedly a sensitive topic for humans, but it should not be covered up or hidden. Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazi Party, was appointed Chancellor of Germany on January 30, 1933. At that time, Germany had a Jewish population of approximately 566,000. Hitler hated the Jewish people, the roots of his anti-Semitism are unclear. When Hitler came to power, he almost immediately began stripping Jews of all kinds of rights, starting with creating a law to strip Jewish immigrants from Poland of their German citizenship. Then we will pass a law that allows the forced sterilization of those found to be affected by genetic defects by a hereditary health court. They also forbid Jews from owning land and being newspaper editors. Jews are also banned from the German labor front and deprived of national health insurance. Jews were also prohibited from receiving legal qualifications. The Nazis forbid Jews to serve in the military. Hitler was trying to create his version of a perfect race by depriving not only Jews of their rights, but also gypsies, the mentally ill, homosexuals, and Jehovah's Witnesses. The name of the mass extermination plan was “the final solution”. The Jews condemned to death really had no escape. Some people were very lucky, some people of Jewish origin sometimes managed to escape being sent to Nazi death camps if their grandparents had converted to Christianity before the date of January 18, 1871. This date marked the beginning of unification of Germany and the beginning of the German Empire. After the start of World War II, N...... middle of paper ......ring again. When news of the events of the Holocaust spread, most Germans claimed to be vaguely aware of the existence of the death camps. Claiming they were misinformed about the camps, Hitler had a 93% rating for his actions from Germany. These actions did not go unnoticed after everything was resolved, after World War II began the search for German officers to charge with war crimes, the people did not want the actions of the people who tortured, killed and massacred them they would go free. Many of the German SS officers were arrested for war crimes and convicted, but few managed to escape. In my opinion, Hitler made the Jewish people stronger and ended up conquering and overcoming this difficult moment. There are many Holocaust museums and monuments that symbolize what Jews and other people experienced. In my opinion the Holocaust has to be the most brutal and vile event in history.
