The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a fascinating and adventurous journey about 4 brothers who travel through a wardrobe magical until you reach a land called Narnia. As they explore the land, they discover its destiny and free it from the evil white witch, with the help of a majestic lion. According to Time Magazine, "There's no fire, no passion and not much fun." I disagree with this statement because I thought the movie was entertaining and intriguing. As the film unfolded, it kept me on a roller coaster with fun and emotional scenes; it kept me on the brink of burning. I thought The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was a fantastic work and full of profound ambition. Also, the actors and actresses in the film did a fantastic job portraying their characters expressing emotions and who they were. sensation. They played with emphasis and put themselves in their character's shoes. My favorite character was the lion, Aslan. He was a well-constructed and solid character; he had an authentic presence that was really needed in the film. While the movie overall was epic, some scenes in the movie didn't match the picture I thought they would be, which made me sadly disappointed. For example, there was a scene in the movie where a war had taken place and it wasn't as thrilling as I thought it would be. Additionally, the portrayal of the White Witch character through her appearance and manor did not meet my expectations. C.S. Lewis, author and creator of The Chronicles of Narnia, did a phenomenal job with the book's majestic theme and the movie's moral, even though he didn't produce it. “No book is really worth reading at the age of ten… half the paper… normally does with all his fiction novels. He does this by using metaphors, symbolism, imagery, and more. Through the Chronicles of Narnia, I think C.S. Lewis wanted his audience to know that there is a higher power and that good can overcome evil. In conclusion, one of the famous CS Lewis quotes that I love states: “I was with the book, as a woman is with child.” This quote means that Lewis was with his book when he wrote it; he fed him and cared for him and wanted anyone who laid their hands on him to appreciate him as much as he does as a woman does for her child. C.S. Lewis did an exceptional job with the book and Andrew Adamson added even better charm when he directed the film. This movie was amazing and got 5 stars from me! I would recommend this film to anyone, young or old, because it tells a story that only the imagination can understand.
