Topic > A Happy Journey of Life - 1902

It was a dark night of a rainy season. It was raining heavily with thunderstorms. Venkat with his wife Padma checked into the Marriott Hotel in Miami as tourists. The room was already booked in advance. They quickly completed the check-in formality. When Venkat reached his hotel room, he was happy and combative. He was in his mid-thirties, bright, young, cheerful, director of a reputed company and felt dignified at having reached a position where he could afford to stay in such a luxurious hotel. His wife Padma, a sweet, sheltered and youthful, bright-skinned young woman in her thirties, was a simple, fun-loving and devoted housewife. It was their first visit to the United States and they were happy to be there. They had been married for about ten years and had two children. They had left their two daughters aged 7 and 12 in India with their grandparents. They settled into the hotel room. They had planned a four-week vacation and intended to visit the East Coast of the United States. Their itinerary included Miami, Orlando, Washington, New York and Buffalo. They had had dinner at the airport and were in a happy mood. The room was on the 5th floor overlooking the pool. The deluxe room was spacious and finely furnished in shades of gray and red. The bed was huge with white sheets. They immediately went to bed and slept together. The next day they got up early and spent a lot of time in the hotel pool. The hotel grounds were well kept and found a lounger in one of the three pools. After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, they headed to Matheson Hammock Beach. This beach is more of a lagoon with stunning views of the bay than a beach. They moved along the long paths observing all kinds of boats and yacs...... middle of paper......st. Offerings were made to the gods. As per traditional practice, Padma was dressed in yellow and all her ornaments. He looked great and was extremely happy. In the evening there was a big dinner. The dinner was organized by a nearby hotel. People were taken around the house. People had a lot of admiration and appreciation for the interiors of the house. Everyone complimented Padma on the beautiful design and interior. Venkat, “You are now the queen of the house. You look beautiful in this yellow dress and all your ornaments. "Padma", Thank you for giving me the house. Have you seen how happy the children are?"Venkat,"Yes, they have their own room. You decorated the nursery so beautifully. Their ship-shaped bed looks so beautiful.” Padma's parents and Venkat's mother stayed for about a month. The days flew by. Everyone was happy.
