Ethics is extremely important during any type of social science research. When doing any type of research, being conducted with the ethics of living beings is something you need to focus on. During the class project, I feel like we focused on ethical practices, but there may have been some ethical violations as well. Each will be explained to fully understand when it needs to continue to occur in another research project and what needs to be addressed. When students in the class were sent to conduct the surveys, they were asked to explain the survey to each of the participants. before they started. This meant that everyone would have to explain that they were students at Northern Arizona University and were conducting a 5-10 minute political poll solely for a class project.
