Donald TrumpTo run or not to run, that is the question. Over the centuries, the great land in which we live, the United States of America, has had many great presidents come and go. From founding father George Washington to the controversial William Clinton. Many of these presidents also had a good reason for wanting to hold this demanding office, whether it was their true virtue of being men or having the support of the entire nation. As we enter the millennium, a new challenger steps onto the path. Donald Trump, billionaire, real estate mogul and international monetary icon. With all this behind him, one has to wonder what he will have to accomplish to run for president. Right now he lives in his penthouse in New York with his name all over the building, aptly named TrumpTowers. Now, when you compare the building that houses this favorite and compare it to the image on the back of a twenty dollar bill, you can see many differences. First of all, this building, the White House, will never be able to bear his name, as well as many of his establishments. Size is also an issue, Donald Trump hasn't lived on the second floor of any building for many years. All of this leads to a question Stone Phillips asked in a recent interview on Dateline NBC "How serious are you about this?" asks Phillips (Phillips). The courageous response came in the blink of an eye, and had a very serious tone. "I'm looking at this very seriously. I mean, you look out the window and you see everything I've done and everything I have I have to lose." Trump responds Being a presidential candidate, having everyone take you seriously would have a major effect on the outcome. But Trump says he doesn't consider himself a "great mover" but rather a "great builder and conceptualizer." In the early 1990s, the real estate market he surrounded himself with collapsed. He suffered a loss of over $9,000,000. This money he used did not come from him, but from his trusted banks. Would he play in the country like this? Sources say no. In the Biographical Monthly, before even thinking about running for president, Trump can be quoted "that no matter what the job, he would give all his money to get the best end result, if that were the price, of course.".
