One of the largest and growing career fields in the United States is the military, whether it is the Marines, Air Force, Navy, or Army, each offers a wide variety of job opportunities, some general and others more specific for a specific professional field such as medicine or mechanics. However, in order to join the armed forces first, it is necessary to take the ASVAP which is a general test that covers various areas from mathematics to English to basic knowledge. Each branch has a set score which is the minimum score required to enlist, some are higher some are lower and it varies based on the branch. The higher a person's score, the better career opportunities available to them. The lower the score you will be confined to smaller, more general job opportunities.
