I remained very shy and quiet, except with those who were close to me for most of my childhood years. After connecting the dots and reflecting on my shy personality, it all comes back to events that happened with an old best friend. In elementary school I had a best friend who constantly deceived me and went behind my back. Having grown up with care, I am able to maintain that trust with people, but due to past events with a friend I have found that it is extremely easy to lose that trust and it is difficult for me to gain it
