“There is no worse tyranny than to force a man to pay for what he does not want.” (Robert A. Heinlein) This is what is currently happening to families who do not use the local public school system. Families who attend private schools, families without children, and families who no longer have children in school would not have to pay public school taxes for their local municipality. This is because, unlike public school users, these families do not use this particular public service. Therefore, these families should not be forced to pay public school fees. In addition to having to pay private school tuition, private school families currently must also pay public school tuition. Having to pay for both school systems can place a financial burden on these families. If a particular family has more than one child or more than one child enrolled in private school, this can also increase financial stress. The same idea applies to families who no longer have a child enrolled in public school. That particular child could attend college after graduating from a public high school....
