Topic > Social and Ethical Implications of Biotechnology

The term genetic technology is related to and can be understood from the expression of genes by taking natural genetic variations, gene modification and gene transfer are the advantages to new hosts. The term biotechnology is also a part of genetic engineering that involves the use of living beings to create or modify products. Biotechnology has been used by humans for centuries in activities ranging from animal husbandry to brewing, baking and plants. ("What is genetic modification (GM)? | CSIRO", 2007). The term Genetic modification of an animal is related to and involves altering its genetic material by modifying, adding or removing certain DNA sequences that do not normally occur in a natural way. Increased growth or disease resistance are the most specific characteristics used to modify to introduce a new trait or animal. All the genetic material of an organism that carries with it the important instructions for all the inherited characteristics of an organism. Animals passed on to the next new generation, therefore, make changes that have been introduced into the genetic makeup of the animals. This genetic modification technology is also used and published in the previous days that it has been used for agriculture, plants and microorganisms to produce enzymes, therefore, research has already been conducted on different techniques for genetic modification in animals, some of which have been released and have been discussed in the following paragraphs. The FAO/WHO, the US Food and Drug Administration, and many other international organizations have already highlighted and published the importance of safety measurements and the products derived from them. ("EFSA topic... half of the document..., including fruit and olive flies, in the future there will also be concerns about animals and their welfare. Particular attention is paid to mammals, including species wild and diseases of fish, insects and birds released or escaped into the environment. These people are also concerned about the introduction into humans of milk-based foods (fish) from genetically modified or cloned animals 'British company Oxitec, the research that has been published is very good, because dengue disease is very famous and it is a very deadly disease as more than millions of people have died in a year, so it is good that the researchers have done a excellent work and carried out a great experiment to save human lives, because mosquitoes are too small and we cannot see them, but when they do harm they cause a deadly disease ("GMO animals”).
