They must always make sure that the evidence supports the hypothesis, otherwise they have to start over. For me, I believe that if there were no scientific method it would make the work of criminal investigators and even forensic examiners much more difficult. What would happen if we didn't have scientific methods? Many crimes and cases in the world would remain unsolved. If forensic experts did not have scientific methods in examining crime scenes or examining evidence in laboratories, many cases would be lost in court. They would not have the evidence to support their thesis. Experts in the criminal justice field wouldn't have answers or lead to criminal cases if they didn't have a way to figure it out. The scientific method is a search for knowledge for crime experts. With the scientific method they can follow the steps to examine the evidence and prove the suspect's guilt. Having the scientific method also helps support and support observations about what they say happened. So, without the scientific method in the field of criminal justice, many crimes would remain unsolved and criminals would walk the streets
