The Disasters of LoveLove: the most splendid, indescribable, intense euphoric feeling for someone or something. Young love can lead you to act and think irrationally; as if love had a magical power over the body and mind. In William Shakespeare's tragic playwright Romeo and Juliet, two lovers cross paths established by fate; Despite all the odds being against them due to an ongoing bitter family feud, Romeo and Juliet recklessly go against their parents' wishes and risk everything for love. Love often results in poor decision making. Throughout the story, Romeo and Juliet behave in such a way that is considered reckless. Throughout the book the beloved boys deal with everything quickly, get married and even commit manslaughter; it's safe to say that love can blind people into acting in a way that would normally be considered strange. When couples are in love, they learn the hard way that rushing often leads to terrible conclusions. Romeo and Juliet's impatience will end in tragedy. At the beginning of the play, Romeo is worried about Rosaline. He states that he "Has not seen it correspond since the world began" (I.II. 99-100). In love with Rosaline, Romeo is distressed by Rosaline's refusal to love him. Yet, later that night, when Romeo and Juliet meet, he suddenly forgets about Rosaline and states: "Give up, sight, / For I never saw true beauty till this night" (I. IV.59-60) . In this way Romeo not only contradicts himself, but also confirms the fact that their love is based on external beauty. Although these lovers are destined to be together, they must not rush into complicated things like love. At a certain point, even Juliet thinks that their love “…is too rash, too inconsiderate, too sudden…… middle of paper…… it was to free Juliet from her forced marriage and throw her into Romeo's arms”. . Apparently Juliet is so unhappy that, "If all else fails, [she herself] has the power to die" (III.V.242). Juliet quickly turns to death. With a little preparation and communication, all this discomfort could have been avoided, but when you are stunned there is no time or thought of rationality. More often than not, love causes you to lose sight of reality and make reckless decisions. Love can make a person so absorbed in a relationship that they cannot think intelligently. It can make someone rush through everything and do things they would normally never do, like get married or even kill a man. Only a select few who have endured something as euphoric as love could understand and relate to this topic. Unfortunately, Romeo and Juliet are not experienced enough to love carefully.
