Never in my four years of high school have I seen such improvement in myself in this area. I felt that in my high school courses my vocabulary expanded a bit, but not as much as in just one class in a semester. Thanks to better use of language, I also have better choice of words. Despite the fact that writing articles is a major source of improvement, just Googling synonyms for words showed me how many words there are out there and how much stronger they can make a piece. I think my expanded vocabulary has had a huge impact on the way I write. These three skills impressed me the most and will be very useful to me in essays to come and life events that occur. I am very confident that taking this course overall will help me succeed in future school. I have acquired some communication skills and know how to use them for subsequent projects. My essays of all types, whether narrative or research papers, will be more substantial due to my better organization and word choice. My progress will be used throughout my college experience and
