Topic > Conserving natural resources through hunting - 1585

“Hunting is not part of conservation, it is conservation,” says Dr. Jon Hutton, Executive Director of UNEP-WCMC. (25 Reasons Why Hunting is Conservation) This quote states that hunting is one of the most useful things to improve a population. Conserving natural resources by eliminating a percentage of overpopulated species helps maintain natural balance in the environment. If the wolf population decreases, the deer population increases. If the deer ate all the grass, the rabbits and other herbivorous animals would decline and kill all the predatory creatures that eat the rabbits. Without hunting, the balance will never be maintained and the environment will never be truly stable and healthy. Hunting should be practiced for the benefit of the overall population and the quality of life of animal species. To better understand hunting, we must learn what hunting is, why hunting is beneficial, and what the consequences of not hunting are. We also need to know what the controversy really is about hunting, population statistics, and some clubs that support hunters and wildlife conservation. To fully and completely understand, we should know the true definition of “hunting.” Hunting is the act of stalking and stalking game to obtain food and survive. Of course nowadays hunting for survival is not necessary, but population control is necessary to improve the environment. Hunting also has its economic benefits bringing in $1.6 billion into this country each season for deer, duck, bear, etc. (25 reasons why hunting is conservation). With approximately 6% of this country's population loving the outdoors (Conservation Force), this nation will receive the money those hunters paid for licenses and other similar tags funded by the federal government and... in between a la carte… or supports the outdoors with funds, but it is more of a club that unites avid hunters. They hold annual contests and fundraisers to raise money for their cause, but this club is more lenient than the NRA and other high-powered clubs. One of the most useful is the US Sportsmen's Alliance. This club helps innocent hunters get out of battle with anti-hunters. These clubs are very helpful and help many hunters and wildlife. ("How it works 1). In conclusion, hunting is necessary for the environment and the economy. With tags bringing in big profits and hunters keeping the population healthy. Many hunting clubs support the environment and help animals who need it and thanks to Man's efforts for nature conservation are going well. Hunters bring money, what does anti-hunter propaganda do for the economy and the environment?
