On the first day of my new job right after graduation, the vice president asked me why I had become a structural engineer. My response was: “I want to contribute to society and my local community by using my strengths in numbers and analytical thinking.” This answer has never changed to this day. I moved to this country when I was 18. My parents were very passionate about providing my sister and I with the best opportunities available even outside of their comfort zone. They allowed my sister and me to move to the United States because this is the country of opportunity. The United States is still the country with the best economy in the world today. I have no doubt that this is the country I want to continue living in and continue pursuing my dreams, including receiving a proper and better business education and building my successful career in business. I am always looking for new challenges because I believe that passion comes from challenges and passion is what I want to maintain throughout my career. When I started working in the summer of 2008, the economy was strong enough to support my decision to become a structural engineer. While giving 100% to be a dedicated and exceptional resource for the company, I have developed a strong foundation in teamwork, analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills by effectively coordinating with team members, relaying information between customers and engineers , providing the best structural design support possible, resolving problems and conflicts between the architect's vision and the structural design with innovative solutions, and accurately managing and completing multiple tasks simultaneously under time pressure.
