The Rise of the Bolsheviks was a huge campaign that used propaganda about the problems with the government at the time. There was a rival party or provisional government, which was more of a democratic system. The Bolsheviks used propaganda against the Provisional Government to the people, exploiting the reasons why the country was struggling. The main Soviet leader, Lenin, was ready to take full control of the government by using military force to overthrow the provisional government. The Provisional Government, knowing that the Bolsheviks would sooner or later lead an uprising.
