Conservatives see it as the most effective way to prevent poverty within communities. Educating children to value personal responsibility and hard work will, over time, reduce school dropout rates and lead to higher education and diplomas to obtain good jobs. US liberals argue that active enforcement of laws prohibiting discrimination in education and the workplace will prevent poverty. No person will be singled out for failing to meet criteria that prevent the person from dropping out of school or quitting their job. Radicals believe that replacing capitalism with a more humane economic system will solve poverty. In theory, the new system would significantly reduce economic inequality and ensure a more equitable economy around the world
