Automotive technicians are the people who fix your cars and keep them running properly without any problems. When you work in this job you also need proper education, you can't just jump in and work on a car, you need proper training. Mechanics have many tasks in the job that involve a lot of computers and repairing parts for the customer's car. Mechanics earn a great salary that continues to grow as they gain more experience on the job. Automotive technicians are a great career to have because you work with many tools to figure out the problem, you get a well-paying job, and you will never have to worry about finding a job because mechanics are needed everywhere. Automotive technicians must go through school before becoming a professional mechanic. To start working you would need a high school diploma or something similar to be able to work as an automotive technician. Having a high school diploma would be better than anything because it could show that you are a hard worker. If you want to get a higher salary, you would have to continue your studies and attend a training program which usually takes 6 months to a year to complete and in these schools there is mainly practical learning, there is not much in the classroom l Learning is all out of the shop. Attending a school dedicated to this career would be a good place to go after high school because it may give you a better chance of getting a job beyond just a high school diploma. Automotive technicians need a lot of training and education to be prepared for the job and to do the best they can at their jobs. Automotive technicians held about 701,100 jobs and most of them worked full time for private companies like...middle of the paper...they don't pay for the jobs and maybe even some of them open their own shops to start earning money more alone. The environment for a mechanic is a great place to work on cars and if you have to get a little dirty it's no problem, that's why you choose to work in this type of environment because you don't mind. Mechanic school isn't that hard, it's just a year or two, then you can start getting a job and working. Being a mechanic is a big responsibility because you are responsible for the car you are working on and you have to be as careful as possible, but beyond that it is a beautiful job to do and experience.
