The Passion Tales tell the story of Christ's crucifixion. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John all tell these stories from a different point of view. In this essay I will examine the passion accounts in the books of Matthew and John. Matthew's passion story is found in chapter twenty-seven and verses eleven to fifty-six. For John it is chapter nineteen, verse one through thirty-seven. The difference between the two books is how each person is presented in a different perspective. The differences between the books also give us a better idea of ​​the whole story. With the different points of view, we are given a better look at the life of Jesus. In Matthew, we begin with Pilate questioning Jesus. Jesus does not answer Pilate. It seems that no one is fighting for Jesus. In John it seems that Pilate does not want to kill Jesus.
