Being a computer engineering student, I have always loved programming. Programming gradually became my passion as I graduated. Brain storming while working on programming is the most challenging part which I loved the most. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? Get an original essay I still remember when I was in 8th grade and we were introduced to C language for the first time, it was so fun to program in C. That time I was not aware of the scope of computers in technology. After finishing high school, I was very confused in deciding the branch from which I wanted to pursue my BTECH. I talked to few knowledgeable people and also did my research and finally decided to get a degree in computer engineering. I took admission in one of the prestigious universities, Charotar University of Science and Technology. In the first year we were dealing with C and C++, which was easy for me. Programming kept my interest in it and as the semesters went by; I have become familiar with several languages such as Turbo C, Java, C#, Prolog and Lisp. Then many new things were introduced, from how computers work to creating projects. In the fourth semester we were introduced to the microprocessor and Java. Java was a totally new environment to work in. It was much simpler than C or C++. It was fun programming with Java. In the fifth semester we dealt with web programming and advanced database management systems. Although it is difficult, it was interesting to know how websites are created. I chose "Artificial Intelligence" as an elective. Here I worked on other amazing languages, Prolog and Lisp. I felt comfortable with both of these languages very quickly. In the sixth semester we covered the levels of big data, cryptography and computer networks. In the seventh semester, we covered embedded systems as an optional subject, advanced computing, compiler construction, service-oriented architecture and mobile computing. In the eighth semester we had to undergo compulsory professional training at an IT company. I went to a company called Tatvasoft where I was placed during my campus placements. In that company I developed two projects based on .Net and SQL Server technology. One project was based on an electronic shopping cart similar to Amazon and the other was Urology System, basically a web-based application to record urinary events of prostate cancer patients according to the rehabilitation process and can do referral to a healthcare professional. The healthcare professional can evaluate the data of the patient who turns to him with this application and provides the information. Since then I have been working in this company as a software engineer. It's a completely different experience than the programming I did in college. This motivated me to get my Masters in Computer Science. Current technological changes tell us everything about what the future holds for Computer Science students. There is no end to “better technologies”, they will continue to emerge. Now the question arises: why would you select me among so many candidates? Well, firstly I took two online courses on "Introduction to Mobile and Application Development" and "Mobile Computing" from Nptel which add extra credit to my CV. Furthermore, I have a certificate in "Robotics" from the training and research institute "A-SET". I also took part in the seminar held on virtual reality and ethical hacking. My knowledge of many different programming languages along with my passion for it.
