Many Caucasians in America have or know someone who has committed a racist act against an African American, directly or indirectly. Casual jokes, physical jesters and verbal slang are the most common acts of racism against African Americans. For example, regarding racism, in politics and the workplace in America today, there have been many racist complaints filed by African Americans. A popular event was the presidential election in which Barrack Obama became president of the United States. There has been a lot of confusion among many Caucasians and African Americans over the years. These Caucasians believe that an African American should not be responsible for them.
