This research is a qualitative study which aims to explore the impact of parents' reflections on decision-making about MMR vaccination for their children in Brighton, southern England. The choice of the qualitative approach proved to be a successful methodology, which is why the researchers aimed to explore the ethnographic context. . This article will critically evaluate the content of the published work of this research. In more detail, this essay will summarize the advantages and disadvantages of this work through criticism of the overall process, credibility, rigor, usefulness, reflexivity. It appears that this research paper has several positive features. These characteristics include selecting the topic with a concise and self-explanatory title, population location and demographic profile description, using multiple methods and sources to access information, sufficient data analysis to support the findings clear and summarized. However, it contains numerous limitations. First, there were no details of whether ethical approval or participant consent had been received. Second, the title of the article does not indicate that it has been reshaped with respect to the research question. The words "talk" and "ethnographic" have a broad meaning. However, within the research, researchers only focus on maternal thoughts in terms of social and political factors. Stenius, Makela, Miovsky, and Gabrhelik (2008) advise that a title should not be exaggerated or too decorative. The importance of the title is part of credibility, which is why it should correspond to the content. Furthermore, in terms of sampling and study methods, it appears that the researchers used appropriate strategies in terms of sampling due to the selection of a purposive sampling technique; which is j...... middle of paper ...... nces, behaviors, thoughts and feelings of people. It will be enough to monitor the changes during the conduct of the research and monitor how these changes influence the thinking of the participants to ensure the reliability of this research. However, the researcher did not provide any information about this, which weakens the reliability of this research. Finally, although the researchers made explicit and discussed the emerging issues, all of their findings supported the argument of social background influences on the MMR vaccination decision and there was no evidence against this argument. In the final analysis, this research introduces a detailed multi-voiced introduction. This introduction could be a useful source for other research in the same field. Furthermore, this qualitative ethnographic approach is an effective and useful approach to follow in future research on other vaccines.
