Especially after all the years these people have to go to school. Therefore, I think this may be one of the reasons why doctors get frustrated with situations like this, as they are trained to have the confidence to make the “right” decisions/diagnoses/recommendations. In my opinion, I think their autonomy as a doctor is being overlooked. However, times have changed and it is not possible for a doctor to force a cancer patient to undergo chemotherapy if the patient refuses to do so; there is always consent to sign. This is why I mentioned earlier that there are currently many ethical dilemmas in the medical field. Not to mention that some nurses also want to become doctors (professional nurses), but unfortunately their training (in years and practice) is not comparable to that of doctors; therefore, this may also lead to encouraging patients to question healthcare providers
