The method used was a mixture of data collection and participants. Participants' personal information was collected from 2007 to 2009 using the computerized Behavioral Health Outcomes Management System. Participants were youth, ages 10 to 19, receiving services due to family abuse and/or neglect. Participating parents were paid $33 for each completed assessment funded by a grant. The study used an effective reporting evaluation method to measure how technology software can help workers develop a new model of resilience and minimize workload size. Results showed that this technology can assist social workers in managing caseload size, assisting practitioners with triage prioritization. This technology can also be used to identify resilient traits in their clients and assist in assessment and evaluation
