These books were written by or in association with powerful prophets of God who received direct revelation from God and were accompanied by many miracles from God. The final set of canons were the Writings, Ruth, Psalms, Job, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Lamentations, Daniel, Esther, Ezra-Nehemiah, and Chronicles. In Luke 24, Jesus talks about the prophets from Abel to Zechariah, where Abel is found in Genesis and Zechariah is found in 2 Chronicles 24, the first and last book of the Jewish canon.
