Psychological trauma can alter, destroy, and create many negative impacts in a person's life. The main definition of psychological trauma is the result of a unique individual experience of an unusual event that has invaded a person's sense of safety and security, causing him or her to feel helpless and at risk of a dangerous situation, and the ability to assimilate his or her experience emotional. he is overpowered in certain situations. (Lawrence Robinson, 2011) Much more severe psychological trauma can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder (PSTD) under certain circumstances. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PSTD) is an anxiety disorder that some people may change after seeing or experiencing a dangerous accident or after being exposed to any event that causes psychological trauma. (National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), 2009). For example, when a person is in danger, he will definitely be afraid. These fears ultimately trigger changes in the body to prepare for self-protection to counter danger or escape from it. But for those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, the reaction is no longer the same as a normal person, in other words, damaged. These people usually feel stressed or scared even when they are safe and are already running away from danger. There are several factors that cause psychological trauma in an individual. They are classified into two categories, the difference between single blow and repeated trauma which will be emphasized depending on whether it is natural or man-made trauma. These two categories cover almost all factors that cause psychological trauma in an individual and will be explained in detail in the following paragraphs.
