Richard Castle is a wealthy crime writer who works in the 12th Precinct of the New York State Police Department to inspire his work. Together with the talented detective Katherine Beckett, he helps solve murder cases of all kinds. Unfortunately, since Castle is merely an amateur sleuth, the trouble he gets into is inevitable, ranging from being trapped in a giant freezer to nearly dying from an incurable disease. Regardless, Kate is always there to save him and Castle has returned the favor countless times. The relationship between Castle and Beckett has undoubtedly evolved since the first season. The two, for example, have finally admitted that they have mutual feelings that go far beyond simple friendship. The two had been together for some time, but neither had dared to think about what awaited them. One day at a time, they tested the waters of a relationship they weren't sure would go anywhere. However, the two were in love and nothing, it seems, could have changed the situation. Unfortunately, Kate being the seasoned detective that she is, gets the job offer of a lifetime when the FBI informs her of a vacancy and offers her the position. It seems wonderful at first, but the fact that the job is in Washington makes her not tell Castle even though she knows it could jeopardize their relationship. Only when she knows for sure that she has gotten the job does she inform Castle that she is pursuing her dream and furthering her career. But Castle's whole life is in New York, and dropping everything to follow his girlfriend when he has a mother and daughter to worry about isn't exactly ideal for him. After a short break, Castle and Beckett meet in a park and Castle tells her what's on his mind. The speech he thought would end in... middle of paper... ct, on the same cases and often side by side, the relationship these protagonists share must be free of poison. In order for this to happen, the two address any conflicts they may have towards each other and are always honest with each other. This interpretation is therefore in the literal sense of the word. Finally, the series is based on the fact that justice is a dominant truth in society based on its morals. According to the laws of society, a crime must be punished. Murder is therefore a federal crime sometimes punishable by death. It is therefore essential in a judicial system that there are police officers and judges capable of enforcing the law that all citizens must respect to prevent society from collapsing into anarchy. This is the basis on which the Castle series is built as the plot of each episode revolves around a murder investigation.
