Hillary Clinton was born in Chicago in 1947. Her life in politics began when she was very young with the help of her teachers and parents. She was the first lady of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981 and again from 1983 to 1992. From 1992 to 2001 Hillary was the first lady of the United States when her husband Bill Clinton was president of the United States. From 2001 to January 2009 Hillary worked from New York as a US Senator. On January 21, he took office as the 67th Secretary of State of the United States. Hillary Clinton was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 26, 1947. She lived in Chicago until she was three, then her family moved to Park Ridge, Illinois. His father Hugh Rodham was the son of Welsh and English immigrants and ran a small textile business. His mother Dorothy Howell was of many immigrant descents and was a homemaker. He had two younger brothers Hugh and Tony. At school Hillary played swimming, baseball and a variety of other sports. In middle school Hillary was a member of a scout troop. She attended Maine East High School where she was selected for the National Honor Society as well as the school newspaper and student council. She transferred to Maine South High School for her senior year, where she finished in the top five percent of her class in 1965 and was a National Merit finalist. His political career began when he was thirteen years old when he helped canvass, or debate on the south side of Chicago after the 1960 election. Another reason it is important is that it helped raise a lot of money for the families of the September 2001 attacks and for redevelopment. Hillary Clinton has done many things to help America so far while she was the first lady of the United States. She also helped with several issues while she was a senator. Finally he also helped with many different things regarding children and families.
