Topic > Essay on Large Families and Large Families - 742

Children in large families are always forced to share. Children in smaller families believe they are the center of attention because their parents only have one or two children to support. Only children are often antisocial because they have not always been exposed to other children. Children who are not exposed to other children will become loners. Children who live in smaller families do well socially and academically. Parents have the means to place their children in better schools and extracurricular activities to ensure that their children are social. Their personality is the most important factor in what a child is like, not because they don't have another child in the house to interact with. Just because a child doesn't have a sibling doesn't mean they don't have friends and family to interact with. A child's personality is what makes them social or not, not siblings or lack thereof
