Today, the heartbreaking reality of domestic violence is real because we have or have had an encounter with these forms of domestic violence. We also know someone who has or has experienced domestic violence. Domestic violence is a prototype of sadistic actions exemplified by the intention to acquire or sustain authority and dominance over an intimate partner or other family members. There are vigorous actions or risks of dynamic actions with behavior that terrorizes, manipulates, segregates, terrifies, coerces, impels and points the finger at, outrages, harms or hurts the partner and/or other family members. Domestic violence can take many forms: Physical: any use of power that causes distress or harm, such as hitting, lashing, and/or slapping. Sexual: Use of sexual harassment, sexual violence by manipulating a person into having sex with remorse or coercion. Emotional and/or verbal: Continuous criticism or harassment at school, work, and home to endanger yourself, yourself, or a loved one. Economic: Being responsible for the person's income and/or leveraging someone's credit to make it hard for a person to acquire or keep a job. Psychological: Minimizing or holding the person accountable for abuse, intimidation, and/or threats that erase property and/or loved ones. Many of the victims do not even acknowledge that they have been abused. In fact, they consider this behavior normal. Domestic violence does not only affect women or children, but men also suffer from it. It doesn't even matter what color our skin is, whether we are rich or poor, and among other issues.
