There are many similarities between Tolkien and Grims, such as the short story Hans Hedgehog. The Hedgehog's rugged appearance reminds me of Bilbo when he first meets Gandelf and the Dwarves. Bilbo seemed rude and unable to connect with the heroes until he got to know them better, through their adventures. Then, Bilbo shed his rough exterior until all you could see was his true form. A selfish, but loving man. To this day I still look at the cover of the book. With its green gold leaf binding, an image of a tree in the centre, and JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit written there. Dusty and slightly aged, the book remains on the shelf reminding me of the adventures I have had and those I have yet to face
