The three reasons that lead to juvenile delinquency are: having lax or indulgent parents, peer pressure and the community in which they live. The number one reason for juvenile delinquency is having lax or indulgent parents. Some parents give their children total freedom and let them do whatever they want, including going places where they don't know what to do. Therefore, those children may encounter people who force them to do things for them.
