Apple and Nokia value teamwork and company involvement. Based on the research, I learned that innovation architecture can be very beneficial to companies and that not all companies have the same type of strategy. Everyone creates one that they think works best for the company. Innovation architecture allows companies to take many ideas and narrow them down to what seems best for the company's intended future goals. The processes and systems that could actually stifle innovation and entrepreneurship are those considered permanent, which does not allow the organization of these companies to be open to change. They must be open to change within the innovation architecture because a new idea or direction may develop, which could drive business improvement and success. I also learned that innovation architecture takes time to create because there needs to be a clear dialogue, one that both companies can understand and have achievable goals. (Dryer & Gregersen, 2009). The kind of structures or processes I would use are similar to Nokia; Three themes are created that represent the foundation of the framework, to help narrow down ideas focused on the goals of the product(s).
