I didn't realize this until a few months ago, when I had to pay my college tuition. Two weeks before the deadline I realized I didn't have the money to pay the few thousand I had to pay. I shared my concern with my family, which completely surprised me. My mom started researching to see what resources were available at the time, my sister offered me her piggy bank, and my brother started brainstorming. I couldn't believe it, I didn't expect this kind of reaction from them. After several days I still needed a couple thousand and reluctantly started a loan application. I was halfway through asking the question, when my brother told me to wait, he said he had a great idea but needed more time. I decided to obey my brother and wait to see what he had in mind. After a few hours he shared his plan with me, it was an offer I couldn't resist. Not only did I pay my full tuition, but I was also debt-free. And it was all possible thanks to my family, who was there for me when I needed it most. But it didn't just happen this one time, my family has always been there for me in my ups and downs, they suffered and celebrated with me in a way that not even my best friend could.
