Interactive textbooks that have YouTube clips and Wi-Fi interface are innovations that will help students. Promethean boards, whiteboards and smart boards will enable classroom interactions and inquiry-based lessons for students. Using iPads and tablets will reduce the cost of textbooks and other materials. Teachers must be educated in the correct use of audiovisual arts to stay updated. I intend to implement staff development and mentoring so that we as teachers can reference more in line with how the new generation of students learns. My business model will involve staff development and at least one department constantly looking for innovations that will improve productivity and keep product costs down. I intend to allow my employees to cross-train in various sections of a business so they don't get stuck in a possibly outdated section of the business. Innovations will be a way to gain market share and expand my business. Trends and new technologies must be taken into account if a business is to thrive in the current climate. Changes that keep workers reliable will help brand and employee loyalty
