Fishing is an activity that I have enjoyed doing since I was a child. In fact, one of my first fishing trips was with my grandfather when I was about eight years old. He was an avid fisherman who went fishing almost every day and knew everything there was to know about fishing. My grandfather made me passionate about fishing. After my grandfather died, my father picked up where my grandfather left off. We had a pontoon boat and Dad took me and my brothers fishing every chance we got. I still love fishing today as much as I did on my first fishing trip with my grandfather. Many people enjoy relaxing and peaceful hobbies, while others prefer exhilarating activities that never bore a dull moment. I like fishing because it has both. When the fishing is slow, I have the opportunity to observe the beauty around me and time to think about myself. When the fish practically jump into the boat, I get the thrill of catching fish after fish in hopes of catching a trophy. Even though planning a fishing trip can be complicated and catching a fish can seem impossible, I enjoy all the preparation and strategy that goes into every fishing trip. Going fishing isn't just sitting in a boat and casting a rod and reel and hoping something will happen. bite. There is a lot of preparation and strategy that goes into a fishing trip. Making a checklist of everything you need and putting all your fishing gear on the boat is just the first step. Once everything is loaded onto the boat, it's time to hook up the jet ski to the van and begin the journey to the lake. Sailing to the lake is only part of the journey; the other part is to find an access to public water and carefully reverse the vessel into the water. Once... halfway through the paper... at the same time. One day the fish might bite a certain bait on every cast, but the next day it won't even look at that same bait. Coaxing the fish to bite and determining what will bite under certain circumstances is one of my favorite parts of angling. It's a rewarding feeling when I can get a fish to bite with one of the techniques I've learned. While many people don't think that preparing for a fishing trip is much fun, I consider it part of the fishing adventure. Getting ready for your fishing trip is almost as much fun as sitting on the boat. Fishing is a hobby that almost anyone can do; all someone needs is a fishing rod, some bait and a license. Angling is an activity that can be practiced throughout your life. If my grandfather hadn't taken me fishing when I was little, who knows if I would enjoy fishing as much as I do today.
