The results are as follows; my wife's personality type was determined to be ESFP, meaning extroverted, sensitive, sensitive and perceptive. According to Butt (n.d.), his strengths are that he is a “people” person who can communicate and express his emotions effectively (para. 1). Compared to my personality, I am more reserved and introverted, I tend to keep things to myself and stay away from groups of people. Knowing my wife's strengths and personality is helpful because I know how to balance her type with mine. In my opinion, knowing your different strengths and maintaining a balance is key. For example, my wife showed me how to communicate and become a more sociable person, which are her strengths and my weaknesses. It also taught me how to express my emotions effectively rather than letting them build up and start worrying those around me. My spouse's strengths combined with my own; work well together. My reliability and loyalty, along with my family-centered mentality, combined with my wife's interpersonal skills, effective communication and emotional control, prove to be the appropriate mix. What I lack in certain areas of my personality, my wife excels at and vice versa. My brother's type is ISTP.
