Every year the Government of Bhutan sends many students to other countries for further studies. These students go there to study and complete their degree. After a few years they adopt the culture and tradition of foreign countries. Some of them even change religion like Christianity and Hinduism. “According to the 2002 report cited by the Goethe Christian Service Center of Bhutan, 65,000 Christians (in the country) have only one church at their disposal” (Kuensel, 2002). When we say that modernization has influenced unique culture and tradition, we do not mean that the Bhutanese people should completely stop developing. It's nice to experience new things. However, Bhutanese must also focus on preserving the country's culture and tradition. Therefore Bhutanese should be encouraged to develop sympathy towards traditional aspects such as conventional art and folk culture.
