The issue of cybercrime has been a major problem that needs to be solved. Cybercrime is spreading uncontrollably causing massive destruction across the world. In the last 5 years the cybercrime rate has increased by 13% and has spread to 7 different countries. There are several current errors/conditions associated with this issue, including legal, financial, and social issues. Right now the police are trying to take action against this crime, but it's not working as there is no way to keep up, there is too much on their plate for them to try to handle themselves. Was the New Deal of the 1930s a liberal plan to create a welfare state in America, or was it a conservative defense of American capitalism? Determining the reasons for this controversy is the best way to prevent cybercrime situations from occurring in the future. "Cybercrime began in 1971, known as the first attack on record, when John Draper realized that a toy whistle in a cereal box could emit the 2600 hertz tone that was needed to produce a call at the time free long distance" (Migga Kigga, 407). Then, after many hacking incidents in 1988, a guy named Robert T. Morris Jr., a graduate of Cornell University, launched a self-replicating worm on the government's ARPANET to test the effects on the system. But the worm apparently gets much more service and spreads to 6,000 computers on the network that end up clogging up government and consequently university systems. Morris was later fired from Cornell, sentenced to a three-year ban and fined $10,000 (Migga Kigga, 408). Nowadays your computer or any electronic device is never safe from this crime because in 2004 there was an investigation...... middle of paper... more problematic than expected from the beginning. People can see that others care and are doing everything they can to prevent the situation from happening in the first place. Businesses, Police, Public, America There will be far fewer crimes and investigations due to the reduction in these crimes. Businesses, Police, Public, America The Importance of Resolving the Dispute Over the past 5 years the cybercrime rate has increased by 13% and has spread to 7 different countries. If nothing else is done soon, it will only create much bigger problems that will dig a crater so huge that we may never be able to fill it and get back to the top. The issue of cybercrime has been a serious problem that needs to be solved. If cybercrime does not exist, it will continue to spread uncontrollably causing massive destruction around the world.
