Topic > The Patriarchal Role of Patriarchy in Homer's Odyssey
The poem shows that even though men are “superior” in our world, there is still someone out there who can dominate them. The example given by the Odyssey was the praised Greek gods who, even as women, can control moral men. In Homer's Odyssey we are suggested that the journey of life is filled with many difficult situations and obstacles. Ulysses had to overcome every obstacle. Every time it's a battle to fight just to try to get home. And finally, life is like a catch, but with determination and perseverance, the journey is attainable and the end result will be worth all the difficulties or obstacles you encounter.
