Chihuahua is the largest state in the country and borders the United States of America. Even though Chihuahua is part of Mexico, it is not like all other Mexican states. Unlike most Mexican states, Chihuahua is home to thousands of people from all over Mexico and Central America who all have something in common; they all decided to designate Chihuahua as their new home because it promised opportunity and a better future for all. Chihuahua not only welcomed immigrants, but also remained true to its Native American roots. From my personal point of view, my family and I are a good example of what an average “Chihuahua” family is; My father's side of the family has been in the state for multiple generations as we have indigenous ancestry and my mother immigrated to Chihuahua like thousands of other people seeking prosperity.
